Axis, created in collaboration with Marcin Dudek, was established as a natural consequence of our previous work of this series, Traces. With Axis we took our exploration of body and architecture trough the manipulation of tape indoors. The building, the old Euston Exchange in London, perfectly served our purpose of developing and depicting the strong visual symbiosis between the physical elements in play. Carrying simple actions with the intention of connecting different rooms and floors, we approached this episode through the investigation of the spaces’ detailed characteristics and their relation to framing and composition. We also looked at rhythm, following our concern with the role of time as another agglutinative element of spaces.  Axis, Euston, London 2010, HD Video, 3:07 min.
